Westinghouse TX-52F480S LCD HDTV:

Conclusion
As I said at the outset, the Westinghouse TX-52F480S has a lot going for it. Color reproduction, black level, and shadow detail are all excellent. Detail in high-def material is superb as long as there's little motion, but when things get moving, a significant part of that detail is lost. Then there's the slight white crush, which is only noticeable in scenes with lots of bright white elements.

The drawbacks I've mentioned can be avoided by choosing a more expensive set, but that means spending at least $500 more than the Westinghouse costs. And in my view, the problems are not so severe that I cannot recommend this TV. In fact, if your budget is limited, the TX-52F480S represents quite a good bang for the buck.
